Captain Akhilesh Saxena is an epitome of great motivational leadership, exhibiting unshakeable valour, camaraderie, and fearlessness on the frontlines of the Kargil war as well as in the corporate world. That made this Kargil War hero the best motivational speaker, as he has a unique blend of experiences of the army, the Kargil War, and corporate leadership. What distinguishes motivational speaker from others is his remarkable resilience of spirit, seen when he was sent to the Kargil War just two months after his marriage. This Kargil war veteran stayed true to his duty towards the nation and played a contributory role in three crucial missions of the Kargil war: the Tololing peak, Hump, and Three Pimples battles. This Kargil War hero was a forward observation officer (FOO) of artillery with the assault company of 2 Rajputana Rifles and 13 JAK Rifles; he displayed huge commitment and fearlessness. Captain Akhilesh Saxena coordinated the 120 guns' firing, a decisive input that testified to India's crucial win during the Kargil War. His brothers in the Kargil War were Major Acharya, Major Vivek Gupta, Captain Vijayant, and Captain Vikram Batra, exemplifying leadership under stress.

During the Three Pimples offensive, this motivational speaker showed his undeterred resilience, surviving serious injuries from gunfire at the hands of the enemy. Though wounded, he continued to march forward until he fainted. Lying in the Base Hospital, Delhi Cantonment, for almost a year, he became a living symbol of toughness and determination. His permanent disability forced him out of the Army, but this calamity could not deter his resolve. He cleared entrance examinations successfully and got admission at the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi, where he passed out with a gold medal in the batch of 2004. 

This Kargil War hero turned motivational speaker is a team player with strategic planning capabilities. He was awarded the highly acclaimed 'Super Boss' award given to the top manager for his outstanding leadership twice at Wipro. In his pursuit of excellence, he has been certified as a PMP and a Six Sigma master black belt. He was awarded the highest honor, 'Proclub,' three times for his exceptional leadership and motivation skills. He was marked as 'potential top talent' at the existing organization based on his constantly 'best in class' performance and potential for being placed in top management due to his style of best leadership and was sent for an executive leadership course at Michigan University. Captain Akhilesh Kargil War experience has aided in polishing all these abilities to perfection. 

Today, Captain Akhilesh Saxena is employed as a vice president of the multinational company in Tata Group, and it is smooth sailing that transfers the deeper experiences of the Kargil War into corporate leadership. His thought leadership echoes within the universities, large events, and media channels alike, as people look towards him as their role model. 

Captain Akhilesh Saxena's records of achievements, both in the Kargil War and in instilling the country's spirit, were celebrated during the 70th Republic Day celebrations on Rajpath, Delhi. This Kargil War hero and motivational speaker’s image adorned the Veterans tableau, a tribute to his unbreakable spirit. His guest appearances on several television channels, such as Times Now, Zee TV, NDTV, Rajya Sabha, and India TV, have also established his motivational legacy. Education

Captain Akhilesh Saxena has completed his schooling from the Sainik School in Gorakhal. He is an alumnus of National Defence Academy. In 1995 he passed out as lieutenant of Indian Army from IMA. The transition from army to corporate sector began when this young battle-toughened soldier moved on from the Army to join a full-time MBA course at the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) and was a gold medallist of the class in 2004. He has consistently exhibited excellent performance and is considered as a forerunner to take up a top management position in corporate. He went to Michigan University for Executive leadership course.

He was a lieutenant of Indian Army in 1995 from IMA. He became an artillery officer and commissioned in “223 Medium Regiment” in Ferozpur. His next posting was in Jammu and Kashmir where he took part in counter-insurgency operations against militants. During the Kargil war, he volunteered to lead the attacks in places like Tololing and Hump.

He was posted at the battlefield of Kargil just weeks after he got married.
He was an artillery officer attached with 2 Rajputana Rifles. During Kargil War, he led the team of commandos to capture peaks like Tololing, The Hump and Three Pimples. As a forward officer, he directed 109 Bofors guns altogether for the firing on the enemy. During the operation, he got injured with enemy bullets but continued the mission, and his team emerged victoriously. He had to undergo a series of medical procedures due to the bullet injuries and posted at the Area Headquarters in Delhi.

He has completed his FMS course with a gold medal. He was part of an IT and a telecom company. During his stint with Wipro, he bagged the prestigious Super Boss award for two consecutive years. Next, he worked as DGM-Business Excellence with Airtel. Here his responsibilities included business processes for “Projects“, “Service Delivery”, “Order Fulfilment“, “Customer Satisfaction” and “Billing & Collections” at the national level. He has completed certifications like PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt and Tata Business Excellence Model (Gold Medal). He is the recipient of the highest award, “Proclub”, for four consecutive years.
